“The Elvies” is een jaarlijks terugkerend evenement voor Elvis fans in de Britse badplaats Porthcawl. Elk jaar komen ergens in September devote volgelingen van Elvis the Pelvis, The one and only, The King, bij elkaar. Het festival beslaat honderden optredens in de meer dan twintig zalen en feesttenten die het stadje telt. Topfotograaf Gareth Cattermole was er bij en maakte de volgende fotoserie.
